New — the V2 drivers

Four solutions rebuilt on the Crestron Home entity model — browser-based setup, existing licence keys carried over, and deeper programming. Pick one to read its documentation.

Where the catalogue is heading

Crestron's new configuration platform, Configure Pro, runs only on the V2 processors — CP4-R, MC4-R and DIN-AP4-R — and the previous generation is no longer gaining features. We're using that transition to sharpen the LCD catalogue around the same principle: better tools for the integrator on site.

  • Setup moves out of the extension screens. Instead of squeezing every driver into the same handful of extension UI fields, configuration now happens in purpose-built web interfaces — licence entry, account connections and per-feature setup, presented clearly in a browser.
  • "V2" means web-configured, not a version number. It's the shorthand for this integrator-first approach; the actual version on any given product won't always be a literal 2.
  • First wave: 2N Native Lock, 2N Basic, Sonos Chime and Dynamic UI — the drivers integrators reach for most.
  • A few products are being retired: UI Tiles (superseded by Dynamic UI), Lighting & Shades Controller, and Inception Alarms, which an Australian integrator now supports directly.
  • Existing licences keep working. If you've sold one of the retired drivers on a job, it doesn't stop — we simply won't ship further updates to it. Pushover and Email stay as they are, and anything else moves to purchase-on-demand, so there's still a route to it if a job needs it.
